Blackhawk UCAs fit to all suspension stages manufactured by Icon Vehicle Dynamics, right from Stage 1 all the way to Stage 4. It is absolutely necessary, that you have good control arms like our Blackhawk UCAs installed in your ride for the following reasons:
- They take the factory ball joint, for longevity.
- Will give you at least 3 degrees of caster correction, for 30-70mm lifts.
- Reprofiled front leg for clearance with larger tyre diameters.
- Shock and strut clearance to allow more wheel travel up and down.
- Angle the ball joint cup to work with the extra travel.
New for 2016, Iconsuspension Australia have introduced the 50mm lift intermediate and Heavy Duty Icon Suspension kits into their range.
These kits ride like a Stage 4, with the long travel stage 3 lengths front and rear, and have CDC adjustment to suit similar to stage 4.
The Slinky long travel install kit isn’t required for this package, with 670mm rear shock lengths for most Toyota models [vs 590-620mm in most other brands] and longer front coil overs and shocks, so perfect for the van and boat towing set up that doesn’t do serious off road, or want to go the 70mm height but may do the Cape or Gibb River road loaded, or towing, where the 2.5 remote reservoir and piggybacks are the #ultimatetourer set up.
Stage 3.5 Kits comes with the Blackhawk UCA’s, diff drop, coils, shocks, struts, reservoir mounts, etc ready to install.
